The Famous Comedian Who Skipped This Year’s KBS Entertainment Awards To Attend DAY6’s Concert

Broadcaster and comedian Park Myung Soo shared a behind-the-scenes story about attending a concert by the band DAY6.

On the December 23rd broadcast of KBS CoolFM’s “Park Myung Soo’s Radio Show”, Park Myung Soo hosted the “Solo Talk Time” segment.

During the show, a listener shared, “When I played Fin.K.L’s ‘White’ at karaoke, a coworker asked who Fin.K.L was, saying Paul Kim is more popular these days. I feel the generation gap most at karaoke.”

Park Myung Soo responded, “That’s understandable. That’s why I attended the DAY6 concert, to get to know the styles of younger people and the MZ generation.”

He continued, “I didn’t know more than half of the songs, but I made an effort to learn them. When a song I knew came on, I sang along and enjoyed it. It was a fantastic time. Watching the performance of DAY6, who represent the younger MZ band scene, I learned a lot and got a sense of the current trends.”

Earlier, Park Myung Soo was notably absent from the “2024 KBS Entertainment Awards”. During the event, Yoo Jae Suk addressed his whereabouts.

Yoo Jae Suk commented, “I just heard that he went to a concert. He went to watch DAY6 perform. He goes to such events to experience the energy. I love DAY6, too.”

Rapper Lee Young Ji chimed in, saying, “I like how he leaves without regrets. I also love DAY6.”
