Park Na Rae Referred to Prosecutors Over Assault and Power Abuse Allegations
Park Na Rae (41), facing allegations of assault and abuse of power against her manager, has been referred to prosecutors.
On the 10th, Seoul Gangnam Police announced that Park Na Rae was sent to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office with a recommendation for indictment on charges of special assault and violations of the Information and Communications Network Act.
In December of last year, two former managers of Park Na Rae filed a complaint, claiming they suffered injuries from a glass thrown by her at her home and submitted a certificate of injury indicating two weeks of treatment needed. They also alleged they were verbally abused for “not drinking alcohol.”
Park Na Rae countersued the former managers on charges including attempted extortion and denied the allegations during three separate police investigations in February, March, and May. However, police determined that abuse of power was established.
Additionally, police are continuing their investigation into allegations that Park Na Rae received illegal medical procedures from someone known as “injection auntie.”
