Yoo Seon Ho To Leave “2 Days & 1 Night” After 3 Years With The Team, Why?
Yoo Seon Ho, the youngest member of “2 Days & 1 Night Season 4,” will be leaving the program after three and a half years.
On the 12th of May, KBS2 announced, “Yoo Seon Ho, who has been with the program for three and a half years, will be graduating from the show,” adding, “He will personally deliver his final farewell to viewers through the broadcast airing on the 31st.”
During his final recording, Yoo Seon Ho reportedly expressed deep affection for the program. He described “2 Days & 1 Night” as “everything about my twenties” and “a priceless experience of traveling all around the country that I will never forget for the rest of my life.”
On his final night with the members, he also shared heartfelt thoughts, saying, “Although my journey on ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ has come to an end, I’m so grateful that I gained dependable older brothers who will stay with me for life,” and added, “I also sincerely thank the viewers who loved someone like me.”
Yoo Seon Ho joined the show in December 2022 as the first member born in the 2000s to appear on the program. He quickly became known for his honest charm, youthful energy, and fresh variety show sense. He gained attention for his chemistry with Moon Se Yoon as the “foodie brothers,” while his “weakest duo” dynamic with DinDin brought plenty of laughs. His innocent maknae image and unpredictable personality added vitality to the show.
The production team also expressed regret over his departure, stating, “We sincerely thank Yoo Seon Ho for bringing youthful energy to ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ for such a long time,” adding, “We will continue cheering for him as he shows even more diverse sides of himself as an actor.”
After the news was revealed, viewers shared reactions such as, “It’s so sad that Yoo Seon Ho is leaving,” “The youngest-member chemistry was really great,” “It’ll feel empty not seeing him on the show anymore,” and “We’ll support his acting career.”
Meanwhile, Yoo Seon Ho’s final episode of “2 Days & 1 Night Season 4” will air on the 31st.
