KBS Reveals Its Star-Studded Kdrama Lineup For 2025: Ok Taecyeon, Seohyun, Lee Jin Young And More

With cable, general programming channels, and OTT original series offering an abundance of content, the focus on the big three terrestrial broadcasters—KBS, MBC, and SBS—has significantly waned over the past year. However, in 2025, these broadcasters are gearing up to release a variety of dramas, from romantic comedies to fantasy genres, which are sure to captivate viewers.

KBS has recently unveiled its exciting lineup for upcoming 2025 Dramas, let us take a look at what they have to offer.

“24-Hour Gym”

Lee Jun Young and Jung Eun Ji team up in 24-Hour Gym (written by Kim Ji Soo, directed by Park Joon Soo). The story follows Do Hyun Joong (played by Lee Jun Young), a gym owner obsessed with fitness, as he helps “gym rookies” (novice gym-goers) overcome their struggles and improve their lives. Jung Eun Ji takes on the role of Lee Mi Ran, a travel agency developer.

“Eun Soo’s Glorious Day”

Starring Lee Young Ae and Kim Young Kwang, this human thriller (written by Jeon Young Shin, directed by Song Hyun Wook) tells the story of Kang Eun Soo, a 40-something housewife who stumbles upon drugs on the street.

Desperate to fund her terminally ill husband’s treatment, she ventures into the drug business. Lee Young Ae portrays Kang Eun Soo, while Kim Young Kwang plays Lee Kyung, an after-school art teacher who becomes her unlikely business partner.

“I Took the Male Lead’s First Night”

Seohyun and Ok Taecyeon lead this fantasy romance (written by Jeon Sun Young, directed by Lee Woong Hee) about an ordinary college student who finds herself inside a romance novel as a supporting character.

She accidentally spends a night with the story’s obsessive male lead, triggering a no-holds-barred detour from the original plot. Seohyun plays Cha Sun Chaek, a wealthy and well-positioned character in the novel, while Ok Taecyeon stars as Lee Bon, a strikingly cold yet captivating noble.

Other KBS releases include Kick Kick Kick Kick starring Ji Jin Hee, Lee Kyu Hyung, and Baek Ji Won, as well as Please Take Care of the Eagle Five! featuring Uhm Ji Won and Ahn Jae Wook.
