Gaeun has left MADEIN!
The group MADEIN’s member Gaeun is leaving the team.
MADEIN’s agency, 143 Entertainment, announced through its official channel that Gaeun has left the group due to what they label as personal reasons. They wrote, “MADEIN member Gaeun will leave the team as of today. Since her debut in September, Gaeun has made many efforts to promote with MADEIN. However, due to overlapping personal circumstances, she has found it difficult to continue team activities, leading to her decision to withdraw.”
Additionally, the agency addressed recent allegations of sexual misconduct, stating, “The accusations reported recently are clearly groundless. We hold solid evidence disproving these claims and are prepared to cooperate fully in legal proceedings, leaving no doubts unresolved.”
This statement follows allegations aired on JTBC’s Case Chief on the 22nd of November, where a member of a rookie girl group was reportedly sexually assaulted by their agency’s CEO. The group MADEIN, which debuted in September, was pointed out as the subject of the claim.
143 Entertainment previously denied the allegations, saying, “There was no inappropriate conduct, such as sexual harassment or coercion, between the mentioned member and the CEO. The report is false.”
