Popular YG Singer Rumored To Be Dating Actress Who Appeared In His Music Video, YG Comments

AKMU member Lee Chanhyuk has found himself in the spotlight again, this time facing dating rumors with actress Ha Jisoo, just two days after rumors of his breakup with singer Lee Saerom surfaced.

Lee Chanhyuk and Ha Jisoo reportedly became acquainted through the music video for Lee Chanhyuk’s song “Umbrella,” which was released on June 28, 2023. In the video, they portrayed a romantic couple, holding hands as they walked through fields and sharing a sweet embrace, garnering much attention from fans.

On January 23, YG Entertainment, Lee Chanhyuk’s agency, responded to the dating rumors with Ha Jisoo, stating, “We are unable to confirm matters related to his private life.”

Interestingly, Lee Chanhyuk was previously rumored to have broken up with fromis_9 member Lee Saerom just two days earlier, on January 21. At the time, YG Entertainment issued the same statement, saying, “We are unable to confirm matters related to his private life.”

The dating rumors with Lee Saerom first emerged on October 20, 2022. Similarly, YG Entertainment refrained from confirming or denying the news, stating it was a private matter. Meanwhile, Pledis Entertainment, fromis_9’s agency at the time, did not release any official statement regarding the matter.

Ha Jisoo, now under SWMP Entertainment, is receiving significant interest as Lee Chanhyuk’s rumored girlfriend. Although her official age is not listed on public platforms, she is believed to be 30 years old, one year older than the 29-year-old singer.
