“I Am Completely Devastated,” Says As One’s Krystal Following The Sudden Death Of Lee Min
As One’s Krystal has shared her feelings after bidding farewell to the late Lee Min.
On the 10th of August, Krystal posted a lengthy message on her personal channel, writing, “These past few days have been the hardest time of my life. I lost my singing partner, my best friend, and my other half, and I am completely devastated.”
She continued, “Min and Krystal were a set. We spent more than half of our lives together, and for the first 15 years, our lives were completely intertwined,” as she recalled past memories with the late singer.
Krystal also wrote, “At first, I didn’t plan to post anything, because the pain was too much to bear. But the overwhelming love and support you all have given me let me know that I am not alone in this grief,” explaining why she chose to share her thoughts now.
She added, “Yesterday, we said goodbye to Min. I know she is now in a better place. It comforts me to know she’s with her mother and her two beautiful dogs,” and promised she would miss her forever.
Along with her message, Krystal shared photos of memories with the late singer, as well as images from the memorial. The post used As One’s song ‘For Just a Moment’ as background music, adding to the sense of loss.
The late Lee Min passed away at her home on the 5th of August at the age of 46. Her funeral was held on the morning of the 9th, after which she was laid to rest.
Krystal debuted in 1999 with Lee Min as part of the duo As One.
