Agency Suspends All Its Activities After Its Singer’s Sudden Death

Following the passing of female duo As One’s member Lee Min, her agency has announced a temporary suspension of activities.

On August 6, Brand New Music stated on their official X (formerly Twitter) account, “We are deeply saddened by the sudden tragic news. In honor and remembrance, we will be temporarily suspending the operation of our official social media accounts.”

They continued, “We also inform you that the scheduled release of our company’s new music on August 7 will be postponed. The updated release schedule will be announced at a later time.”

Brand New Music further expressed, “We extend our deepest condolences over this unspeakably heartbreaking news. May she rest in peace.”

According to Brand New Music, Lee Min was found dead at her home on August 5. She was 47 years old.

The exact cause of death has not been confirmed. A representative from Brand New Music told Star News, “Her husband returned home last night and discovered her collapsed. The police are currently investigating the cause of death.”

Lee Min debuted in 1999 as part of the duo As One alongside member Crystal. The group released hit songs such as “Day By Day,” “You’re Leaving Me,” and “Do I Have to Say Sorry.” Just two months ago, in June, they released their new single “Happy Birthday,” making the news of Lee Min’s sudden passing all the more heartbreaking.
