Ten is also leaving SM ENTERTAINMENT!

SM Entertainment released an official statement on the 6th of April saying, “After deep discussions with Ten regarding future activity directions, we are informing you that his exclusive contract has been concluded as of April 8.”

Unlike Mark, who is leaving NCT and ending all NCT activities upon contract termination, Ten is currently coordinating group activities. SM stated, “We plan to coordinate so that Ten can participate in WayV and NCT group activities going forward.”

Additionally, they expressed, “We are grateful to Ten, who has shown outstanding capabilities not only in group activities but also as a solo artist since debut, and we will sincerely support Ten’s new beginning.

Regarding WayV, the group Ten belongs to, SM announced, “We will continue to fully support WayV members’ activities and will do our best for the fans who support WayV.”

Ten, who is Thai, went through SM’s public trainee system, SM Rookies, and debuted on April 9, 2016, as an NCT U member with ‘The 7th Sense.’

Ten, who was praised as an ‘all-rounder’ for excelling in various positions including vocals, dance, and rap, released his first solo song ‘Dream In A Dream’ through SM STATION in April 2017, the fastest among NCT’s multi-member group members.

Through NCT’s first group album ‘NCT 2018 EMPATHY,’ he formed NCT U with Taeyong and promoted with ‘Baby Don’t Stop.’ In April 2018, he released another solo song ‘New Heroes,’ and in 2019, he officially debuted as part of WayV, NCT’s fixed team and China-localized group.

WayV has released numerous songs including ‘Regular,’ ‘Take Off,’ ‘Moonwalk’ (天選之城), ‘Love Talk,’ ‘Turn Back Time’ (超時空 回), ‘Kick Back’ (秘境), ‘Phantom,’ and ‘On My Youth’ (遗憾效应).

Ten made his official solo debut in February 2024 with his first mini-album ‘TEN,’ and released his second mini-album ‘STUNNER’ in March last year, followed by the Japanese mini-album ‘Humanity’ in April of the same year.
