Hello everyone, this is SUGA.
It’s been a while—around two years, I think.
How have you all been?
As of today, I’ve officially completed my service and wanted to greet you after such a long time. I’ve been looking forward to this moment, but it’s been so long that I wasn’t quite sure how to say hello again. Above all, the first thing I want to say is a heartfelt thank you to all the fans who waited for me. I truly missed you.
Over the past two years, I had a lot of time to reflect on myself.
I felt it was important to take a step back from everything I had been doing for so long. I’ve always been running forward without pause, and during this time, I was able to really look inward and re-evaluate myself.
ARMY, thank you so much for waiting—for being patient.
And, I want to sincerely apologize for the disappointment and concern I caused with what happened last year. It hurt me deeply to know that I may have hurt your hearts.
I’m also very sorry to the members who may have carried a heavy heart because of me.
Moving forward, I’ll do my best to repay all the love you’ve given me. I love you. I’ll make sure to keep in touch more often.

Suga ended up releasing a 2nd apology letter and his case concluded with a fine.
