On November 22, BTS’s V uploaded a cryptic illustration to his Instagram stories. The illustration is that of a cat that features the words, “You’re overthinking it again. Things will be fine.”

BTS’s V added a caption to it saying, “I got it teacher cat. I won’t break down.”

This update came as a surprise to fans who think he might be addressing the recent situation where some netizens accused him of receiving preferential treatment in the military because Min Hee Jin claimed he texted her early in the morning on her birthday to congratulate her. Since her recent birthday date is after he enlisted, some netizens began to question whether he received special treatment and was allowed to use his phone outside of the allocated or allowed time frame.

However, this has since been debunked by the military base. The Military Police Unit of the Army’s 2nd Corps stated, “At the Army Training Center where Kim Taehyung served, trainees are allowed to use mobile phones for one hour during weekends and public holidays. Kim Taehyung used the phone in accordance with the Training Center’s guidelines, during the designated afternoon usage time, not in the early morning.”

The official further clarified, “There is no evidence to suggest that Kim Taehyung was specifically permitted, overlooked, or allowed to use a mobile phone outside the approved hours.”
