IU, Lee Hyori, BTS, K.Will, Zico, TWICE And More Send Condolences Wreaths + Many Visit Wheesung’s Funeral To Pay Respect
At Wheesung’s funeral hall, many artists have expressed their condolences.
On March 14, Wheesung’s funeral hall was set up at Samsung Medical Center in Gangnam, Seoul, tributes poured in from artists including Kim Bumsoo, KCM, IU, Lee Hyori, K.Will, Naul, Gummy, Kim Taewoo, Lyn, and fans.
Singers IU, Naul, Zico, Park Jung Hyun, Jung Joon Il, and groups TWICE and Baby V.O.X. sent funeral wreaths to mourn the late singer. BTS, along with BigHit Music CEO Shin Seon Jung, singer Lee Hyun, and TXT, also sent a condolence wreath.
Additionally, KCM, Kim Tae Woo, Lee Hyo Ri, Young Tak, IU, Baby V.O.X’s Lee Hee Jin visited the funeral to pay their respect.
According to the police and his agency, Wheesung was found dead in an apartment in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on the 10th.
The National Forensic Service conducted an autopsy on the 12th. A syringe was reportedly found near Wheesung’s body. The police will determine the cause of death based on forensic findings.
Since his solo debut in 2002, he had been recognized for his outstanding vocal abilities and passion for genre music in the Korean music industry.
