Girl’s Day’s Bang Minah has personally shared her thoughts on her upcoming marriage to actor On Joo Wan.

On July 4, Bang Minah posted a handwritten letter to her fan café, expressing her feelings about the marriage news. Earlier that day, it was revealed that Bang Minah and actor On Joo Wan, who is 10 years her senior and whom she met through dramas and musicals, will be tying the knot this November.

She began her letter by saying, “I really thought a lot about how to bring this up. I even imagined telling you about it in the most wonderful way when the time came… but things didn’t quite go as planned, so I decided to quickly share my heart in writing.”

She continued, “Still, I’m glad that I can share this with you. Not long ago, I had the chance to sing at a longtime fan’s wedding, and it felt like I was pulling out one of my most cherished items from a drawer I hadn’t opened in a while. We were young back then, and I realized just how passionate we were during those days. I honestly missed it.”

You all are part of my life, my time. Thanks to the love and support you gave me, I’ve been able to live warmly and keep moving forward,” she said. “That’s why I worked hard and poured my heart into every project—to repay the affection you’ve given me.”

Minah also wrote, “Without Girl’s Day and Daisies (Girl’s Day’s fandom), there wouldn’t be me. I’m truly a happy person. Thank you for teaching me that life can be filled with such warm feelings.”

She added, “Now I have someone by my side who cheers me on more closely than anyone. Hehe. I’m going to keep taking on new challenges, receiving your support, and protecting my family as I move forward,” and ended her letter with, “Please congratulate me warmly. Sending all my love to my Daisies. From your leader, Bang Minah.”

Bang Minah and On Joo Wan first met through the SBS drama “Beautiful Gong Shim” in 2016. They reunited in the 2021 musical “The Days,” which brought them closer and eventually led to a romantic relationship. Both of their agencies have confirmed that the two will be holding a private wedding in November.
