HYBE Shatters Its Own Record Again, Here’s How Much BTS’s World Tour Made The Company In Just 3 Months
HYBE has broken its record for the highest quarterly results, boosted by the success of the BTS tour.
On November 3, HYBE announced its third-quarter 2026 revenue of 1.5257 trillion won (about $1.09 billion) and operating profit of 188.5 billion won (about $135 million). Both revenue and operating profit are quarterly records.
The operating margin reached 12.4%. The previous quarterly record was set in the second quarter of this year, when the BTS tour got fully underway, with revenue of 1.45 trillion won (about $1.04 billion) and operating profit of 170.9 billion won (about $122 million). HYBE rewrote the record in just one quarter.
Cumulative revenue through the third quarter reached 3.674 trillion won (about $2.62 billion). Excluding temporary costs incurred in the first quarter, cumulative operating profit through the third quarter topped 400 billion won at 417.9 billion won (about $298 million).
Concerts led the results in the third quarter. HYBE recorded 726.8 billion won (about $519 million) in revenue from the concert division alone, again setting a record for the highest quarterly concert revenue. This was driven by BTS’s Europe and US tours, which drew about 70,000 people per show, as well as tours by ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, &TEAM, BOYNEXTDOOR, TWS, ILLIT, KATSEYE, and CORTIS throughout the third quarter.
BTS, which is active as a full group this year, will continue touring through the first half of next year to meet fans around the world. At the same time, they plan to carry out music work and various projects.
The albums and music division recorded 282.8 billion won (about $202 million) in revenue, and the merchandise and licensing division recorded 334.6 billion won (about $239 million). During BTS’s North American tour, about 1 million fans gathered at merchandise sales sites in 12 cities over 45 days, and about 2 million items of merchandise were sold.
HYBE’s “multi-home, multi-genre” strategy is also paying off. KATSEYE topped the Billboard 200 with “Wild,” released in August, and “Animal” charted for 12 consecutive weeks, with many songs landing on the Billboard Hot 100. They also sold out every show of their European and North American tours, which span 31 shows across 27 cities. KATSEYE plans to continue touring Asia and Oceania next year and will headline Lollapalooza India 2027.
&TEAM, which is based in Japan, held its first solo dome concert at Belluna Dome, and is widening its global fan reach through a collaboration with Santos Bravos, which debuted in HYBE’s Latin home.
In October, HYBE also launched the “HYBE Global Label Service” to accelerate its artists’ global activities.
