Megan, a member of the group Katseye, has come out about her sexual identity.

On the 6th of June, during a live broadcast with Lara, Megan said, “I’m coming out. I’m bisexual,” and then jumped with joy alongside Lara.

Previously, Lara, another member of the same group, revealed her sexual identity through the fan platform Weverse in March. She shared that she realized she was attracted to the same sex—not the opposite—since she was eight years old. She also confessed, “When I went on auditions, I was really scared. I didn’t know if people would accept me, and I thought it might ruin my chances.”

With Megan following Lara in coming out, Katseye now includes two openly LGBTQ+ members.

Meanwhile, Megan’s group Katseye is a six-member U.S.-based girl group co-produced by HYBE and Geffen Records, which debuted in June last year through the survival audition show The Debut: Dream Academy. They are set to make a comeback on the 27th with their second EP Beautiful Chaos.
