KATSEYE has postponed more of their North American tour dates after member Megan was diagnosed with a concussion.

On November 5 (local time), the group’s agency announced the postponement of the Chicago and Minneapolis shows through the group’s official Instagram account. The announcement read, “The label has made the decision to postpone our shows in Chicago and Minneapolis as Megan is recovering from a concussion.”

It continued, “We are incredibly sorry to disappoint our fans. We know how much you’ve been looking forward to these shows, and that many of you have traveled long distances to be there. We don’t take that lightly, and we’re truly sorry for the disappointment. We’ll announce the rescheduled dates as soon as possible, so please hold onto your tickets. We can’t wait to see you in both cities again soon. Thank you for your continued love, support and understanding.”

Megan also shared a letter to fans on her Instagram. She wrote, “I am so sorry that our Detroit, Chicago, and Minneapolis shows have been postponed. I currently have a concussion, and am doing everything I possibly can to recover from it so I can be on stage for you all again.” She added, “I wanted to try my best to still make the show happen, but I’ve been strongly advised by medical professionals that I need to take this time to fully recover, and come back safely. I love you all so much, I deeply appreciate your understanding, and I am devastated to have to do this. I cannot wait to make it up to you EYEKONS, and give you the show you deserve.”

Daniela, Lara, and Yoonchae also posted a letter on their respective Instagram accounts. They wrote, “The 4 of us cannot begin to express how sorry we are for postponing our Detroit, Chicago, and Minneapolis shows. We love you so much and performing for you all is our greatest joy, and something we never take for granted.” They continued, “We just want you to know, the three of us genuinely wanted nothing more than to be able to perform and share this moment with you. We have tried everything to still make a 3 member show happen, especially because we know many of you have traveled long distances for this, and have been looking forward to this for a long time. It wasn’t a lack of desire or willingness on our part. Unfortunately, there are circumstances and commitments beyond our control that don’t allow us to move forward as three.”

They added, “This is incredibly disappointing because we wanted to be there just as much as you wanted to see us. We hope you can understand that this isn’t a decision that reflects how much we wanted to make this happen and still show up for you. Please send your love to Megan and know that she is doing everything she can to get better. We love all of you so much, and we can’t wait to make it up to you.”

KATSEYE was originally scheduled to hold their world tour “THE WILDWORLD TOUR” in Chicago on November 5 (local time) and in Minneapolis on November 7. They decided to reschedule both dates, prioritizing Megan’s health and recovery above all else.

Previously, KATSEYE had postponed their November 3 show in Detroit for the same reason. At that time, news of the schedule change was announced just 30 minutes before the concert was set to begin.
