KBS Denies Blocking This EXO Member From Appearing On Their Shows Because Of SM
EXO member and solo artist Xiumin’s agency has claimed that he was denied an appearance on KBS 2TV’s music program Music Bank ahead of his solo activities, and KBS has since responded!
On the 4th of March, One Hundred, the parent company of Xiumin’s agency INB100, stated, “We made multiple attempts to meet with the broadcasting station, but KBS remained unresponsive.”
The agency further alleged that KBS unofficially conveyed that Xiumin could not appear on Music Bank or other programs featuring artists from a certain entertainment company at the same time.
However, since One Hundred described this as an unofficial claim, further verification is needed regarding the alleged ban.
KBS has since denied the allegations, stating, “That is completely untrue. (Music Bank producers) are still in communication with Xiumin’s agency.”
Meanwhile, Xiumin is set to release his solo album Interview X on the 10th.
