Beloved Korean Singer Cancels Joint Concert With Wheesung After His Sudden Tragic Passing
Singer KCM has canceled his joint concert with the late singer Wheesung.
On the afternoon of the 10th of March, a representative from KCM’s agency, A2Z Entertainment, told OSEN, “KCM and Wheesung were scheduled to hold a joint concert in the provinces on the 15th, but today we heard the news of Wheesung’s passing. We are also in a state of great shock right now.”
The representative continued, “The concert was not specifically designed as a duet performance between the two artists. Instead, it was planned in a format where Wheesung would perform for an hour and KCM would perform for an hour. After the tragic news was reported, we were informed by the concert organizers that the concert had been officially canceled,” expressing condolences for the late singer.

Wheesung was originally scheduled to hold a joint concert with KCM, titled The Story, on March 15 at 6 PM at Daegu EXCO Auditorium. As recently as the 6th, he had posted on his personal social media, saying, “Diet is over. See you on March 15,” expressing his excitement about meeting fans.
However, just five days before the concert, the sudden news of his passing has left many in shock and deep sorrow.
Meanwhile, on this day, Wheesung’s agency released an official statement saying, “We are deeply saddened and heartbroken to deliver such tragic news. Today, our artist Wheesung has left us. He was found in a state of cardiac arrest at his home in Seoul and was pronounced deceased. The sudden news has left his family, fellow artists at Tajo Entertainment, and all staff members in deep grief.”
The agency continued, “It pains us greatly to share such heartbreaking news with the fans who have always given Wheesung their unwavering support and love. We ask that you pray for his peaceful rest. We also earnestly request that speculative reports and unfounded rumors be refrained from, out of respect for the grieving family. Once again, we send our deepest condolences as he embarks on his final journey.”
