Lee Seung Gi’s Wife Snaps At Controversial Rapper For Posting Picture Of Them From A Year Ago, He Hits Back With This Shocking Response
Lee Seung Gi’s wife, actress Lee Da In, openly sniped at MC Mong, and MC Mong hit back.
On September 3, MC Mong had posted a black-and-white photo on his social media with the caption “Bam!!!” featuring Lee Seung Gi, Lee Da In, Lee Da In’s older sister actress Lee Yoo Bi, and Chagawon Onehundred Chairman Cha Gawon together. The photo stirred quite the reactions among netizens but Lee Da In was not happy the photo was shared.
On The 4th of September, Lee Da In stirred attention by expressing displeasure at the upload of the photo, writing “What’s the reason for deliberately posting a photo more than 1 year old now and causing noise? I really can’t understand,” and posted the original-looking color photo along with proof that the photo’s timestamp was July 18, 2024, 11:17 p.m.
This gained massive attention since many interpreted that the photo was somewhat taken serious, this brought into question why MC Mong would post this photo after such a long time from when it was taken.
MC Mong snapped back at Lee Da In and uploaded a zoomed-in version focusing on her face from a photo he had posted the previous day on his social media and wrote, “Mind your own business! Whether I post a photo from a year ago or one I liked, before you all become more hateful. Would I ever do something like you, abandoning family?”
This is interpreted as MC Mong’s counterattack against the actress, and he’s receiving backlash for allegedly bringing up her family issues in response to her displeasure with the photo upload. The 4th was also MC Mong’s birthday.
MC Mong and Lee Seung Gi are longtime acquaintances, having appeared together on KBS2’s “1 Night 2 Days.” With Chairman Cha Gawon of Piark Group, he co-founded Onehundred and had worked as general producer before stepping down this past June.
Meanwhile, this past June, MC Mong was excluded from Onehundred and Big Planet Made operations and afterward revealed plans to study abroad. At that time, MC Mong said, “Extremely severe depression and health deterioration after a surgery made it so difficult that even doing music was hard,” and added, “I want to choose a way that lets me do music for longer.”
Meanwhile, Lee Da In married actor Lee Seung Gi in April 2023 and gave birth to a daughter in February last year.
