Controversial Kpop Agency Causes Shock Announcing The Suspension Of Two Members’ Activities
MADEIN members Yeseo and Suhye will be suspending their activities in the group!
On the 26th of December, agency 143 Entertainment announced, “Yeseo and Suhye have halted their activities as MADEIN. Accordingly, MADEIN will continue activities for the time being as a four-member group consisting of Mashiro, Miyu, Serina, and Nagomi.”
The agency added, “We are awaiting the investigation results regarding the incident involving the former CEO, and we will fulfill our responsibilities accordingly. At the same time, we will hold those responsible who caused great harm to MADEIN accountable to the very end.”
MADEIN is a group that debuted in September last year. However, member Gaeun suspended activities due to health issues just one month after debut and later left the team. At the time, 143 Entertainment explained, “Gaeun made many efforts for activities, but due to overlapping personal circumstances, it became difficult for her to continue team activities.”
Later that same year in November, JTBC’s “Incident Chief” reported an allegation in which a girl group member claimed she was sexually harassed by the agency’s CEO. Some speculated that the member in question was Gaeun, but 143 Entertainment refuted this, stating it was “groundless.”
However, on the 29th of last month, Gaeun’s mother held a press conference and exposed allegations of forced molestation and unfair treatment by 143 Entertainment CEO Lee Yong Hak, announcing plans to file a criminal complaint.
This announcement has shocked fans who are wondering why two members are also suddenly suspending activities with no explanation.
