Famous Idol-Actor Reveals Wedding Plans, To Get Married Next Year
Singer and actor Ok Taecyeon (38) personally announced his marriage news.
On the 1st of November, Ok Taecyeon revealed a handwritten letter on his account to share that he’s getting married.
Earlier that day, his agency 51k also said, “Ok Taecyeon has promised to share his life with the person he has been seeing for a long time. The wedding ceremony is scheduled to be held privately next spring at a location in Seoul, attended only by both families, relatives, and close acquaintances. As his spouse is a non-celebrity, we ask for your deep understanding that detailed information will remain private.”
They also added, “Even after marriage, actor Ok Taecyeon plans to greet everyone with good works and various activities. We ask for your continued generous support and love for Ok Taecyeon.”
The following is the full text of Ok Taecyeon’s handwritten letter:
Hello, this is Ok Taecyeon of 2PM.
I picked up a pen with the desire to be the first to tell my story to the fans who always cherish and support me.
It has already been 19 years since I debuted as 2PM. Starting from a program called <Superstar Survival> when I was 19 years old, I was able to come this far because all of you have always been with me for such a long time. I thought it was only right to be the first to deliver my news to all of you who have always cherished and supported me like this.
I have promised to spend my life together with one person who has understood and believed in me for a long time. We plan to walk together through life, becoming a reliable presence for each other.
Once again, I sincerely thank everyone who has supported me with an unchanging heart up to this point. I cannot express in words how much strength your love and support have given me.

Meanwhile, Ok Taecyeon acknowledged his relationship with a non-celebrity woman four years younger than him in 2020. In February of this year, wedding rumors arose after photos were released by a snapshot company that appeared to show him proposing to his girlfriend.
