After Getting Betrayed By His Manager Of 10 Years, Famous Korean Singer Decides To Halt All YouTube Channel Broadcast

Singer Sung Si Kyung has announced a temporary halt to uploads on his YouTube channel following reports that he suffered financial damage from his former manager, who worked with him for over 10 years.

On November 4, a post was uploaded to Sung Si Kyung’s YouTube channel stating, “I’ll take a break from YouTube just for this week. I’m sorry.” This decision appears to stem from the shock and emotional toll caused by the betrayal of his longtime manager. Until now, Sung Si Kyung had consistently uploaded new content every week unless he had concerts or other major schedules.

Previously, on November 3, Sung Si Kyung’s agency SK Jaewon stated, “It has been confirmed that Sung Si Kyung’s former manager engaged in actions that betrayed the company’s trust while performing his duties.” They added, “We recognized the seriousness of the matter through an internal investigation and are currently verifying the exact scope of the financial damage. The employee in question has since left the company.”

Later, Sung Si Kyung shared his feelings on social media, saying, “The past few months have been truly painful and difficult to endure. Experiencing a loss of trust in someone I cherished and thought of as family isn’t something new even in my 25 years since debut, but it’s still not something easy to face at my age.”

The former manager who left had appeared in multiple YouTube videos alongside Sung Si Kyung. Following the reports, Sung Si Kyung set those videos featuring the manager to private.
