Thief Who Broke Into Nana’s Home Files Lawsuit Against Her For “Attempted Murder,” She files A Counter Lawsuit
Actress and singer Nana (real name Im Jin Ah, 34), who was the victim of a home invasion robbery, is facing a lawsuit by the perpetrator who claims what she did to him counts as attempted murder.
Previously, on November 15 of 2025 around 6 a.m., Nana was seriously threatened by a robber who broke into her home in Acheon-dong, Guri City, Gyeonggi Province.
Awakened by her mother’s screams, Nana immediately confronted the intruder. Together, mother and daughter restrained the perpetrator by holding his arm and reported the incident to the police.
As a result, the suspect was arrested and sent to prosecutors on charges of aggravated robbery and assault.
On January 2, it was reported that the suspect recently filed a complaint against Nana during the investigation, claiming that her actions during the restraint constituted attempted murder.
In the incident, Nana’s mother was injured and received treatment, and Nana herself also sustained physical harm.
The public has expressed strong anger and concern over the fact that the victim has become the target of legal action.
After the report was released, Nana’s agency Sublime released an official statement saying, “Through a thorough investigation by the authorities regarding the robbery and assault incident involving our actor Nana, the criminal acts of the perpetrator have been clearly confirmed.”
They added, “During the perpetrator’s actions, armed with a weapon, Nana and her family suffered significant physical and psychological harm, the effects of which continue to this day.”
The agency criticized the perpetrator, stating, “Despite this, the perpetrator has shown no remorse and has filed a separate complaint against Nana, exploiting her fame and causing secondary damage through this inhumane behavior.”
Sublime emphasized their stance, saying, “We prioritize the protection of our artists’ rights above all else, and we will take all civil and criminal legal measures against the perpetrator in relation to this matter.” They concluded, “We will continue to respond responsibly to ensure that our artist does not suffer any further harm.”
