JYP Removes All Traces Of Their Global Girl Group From Their Website And Deletes Their Social Media Accounts, Whats Going On?

JYP Entertainment has caused quite the reaction among fans after many had discovered that the social media accounts of VCHA have either been deactivated or gone dark, and their name is no longer on their artists’ list.

As of August 5, fans have noticed that the group’s official social media accounts have gone dark. In the case of Facebook, the original page says it doesn’t exist anymore. While on Tiktok, Instagram and YouTube all the group’s content and highlights have been removed but the accounts remain up.

Their Twitter/X account has also been deactivated and if you visit their official website, a blank white page appears. Additionally, VCHA is no longer on JYP’s website artists list causing even more worry among fans. This is due to the ongoing issues related to the groups and their contracts which has been a topic of discussion among fans of the group.

It started with former member KG, who revealed she’ll be initiating legal action to terminate her contract due to mistreatment and abuse by certain staff members at the company.

In the statement, she also alleges that a member attempted suicide due to the poor working conditions, among many other shocking details that she alleges in the court document. JYP USA denied the claims in a statement, “We deeply regret KG’s decision to file a lawsuit and make unilateral public statements containing false and exaggerated claims. This action has caused significant harm to the other members of VCHA and JYP USA who have been working diligently on their upcoming album and projects for early 2025.”

Then, earlier this year, the agency released a statement to announce that Kaylee had left the group causing even more confusion among fans.

VCHA was formed through the survival audition program A2K, a joint project between JYP Entertainment and Universal Music Group’s Republic Records. The group debuted in January 2024 with “Girls of the Year” and later released songs like “Only One.”

As of today, the group is now comprised of 4-members including Camila, Kendall, Lexi, and Savanna.
