Kyung Hee University Repeal CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa Admission Following Huge Backlash And Controversy

On January 18, a report by MBN News confirmed that the idol’s admission to the graduate program at Kyung Hee University was canceled.

According to MBN News the idol’s admission as canceled due to the huge backlash and controversy surrounding the preferred admission process for the idol.

The professor involved in this case (named Lee) is also currently under police investigation for assisting with the admission of CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa and forging documents. After a meeting featuring the dean of the graduate school and 10 more people was held on January 14th, it was revealed in an interview on the same day that Professor Lee was charged for the forging.

Earlier it was revealed that CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa was the popular idol being investigated for alleged preferred treatment for admission to the graduate program at Kyung Hee University.

The idol later released an apology letter and his agency FNC Entertainment released a statement explaining their side of the story.
