Kim Soo Hyun Is Filing An Additional Lawsuit Against Garo Sero Institute For Intimidation
Actor Kim Soo Hyun’s agency has announced an additional lawsuit against Kim Se Ui, the operator of the YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute (Gaseyeon).
On the 24th of March, Gold Medalist released an official statement, saying, “Today, we have additionally filed a criminal complaint against Kim Se Ui, the operator of Garo Sero Research Institute, for criminal intimidation under the Criminal Act.”
Previously, on the 20th, Gold Medalist had already filed a lawsuit against Kim Se Ui, the family of the late actress Kim Sae Ron, and an unidentified person claiming to be Kim Sae Ron’s aunt for violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (distribution of filmed materials, etc.). This was in response to Gaseyeon uploading a photo of Kim Soo Hyun taken with his pants off during a live broadcast.
Gold Medalist stated, “On the day after we filed the complaint (21st), Gaseyeon once again uploaded the same photo during a live broadcast on their channel. This act constitutes another crime and is an unimaginable disregard for the law and investigative authorities.”
The agency further revealed that Gaseyeon threatened to release a video of Kim Soo Hyun while referencing Disney+’s original drama “Knock-Off,” in which Kim Soo Hyun stars. “They threatened that if Disney+ does not cancel the release of ‘Knock-Off,’ they will reveal a video of Kim Soo Hyun,” the agency stated.
Gold Medalist strongly refuted Gaseyeon’s allegations that Kim Soo Hyun committed crimes similar to those in the infamous ‘Nth Room’ case and that there exists a video as evidence. “Just like all the previous claims made by Gaseyeon, this is entirely false. There is no such video, nor could there be,” the agency emphasized.
Gaseyeon has repeatedly released photos suggesting a romantic relationship between Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun. On the 15th, they uploaded a photo of a man washing dishes with his pants off in what is believed to be Kim Sae Ron’s home, claiming the man was Kim Soo Hyun.
Kim Soo Hyun’s agency had consistently denied dating rumors with Kim Sae Ron since March of last year. However, after photos and letters exchanged between them surfaced, the agency officially acknowledged their past relationship on the 14th. Still, they denied allegations that their relationship began while Kim Sae Ron was a minor.
