It has been reported that the script reading of Park Sung Hoon‘s next work, the tvN drama ‘Chef of Tyrants’, which had caused controversy for posting obscene materials, has been canceled.

According to the broadcasting industry on the 2nd of January, it has been reported that the script reading of the tvN drama ‘Chef of Tyrants’, which was scheduled to be held today (2nd), has been canceled.

However, tvN’s side stated, “We have adjusted the script reading schedule considering the social atmosphere during the national mourning period [Jeju Air’s tragedy].”

Previously, actor Park Sung Hoon caused controversy by posting a Japanese AV magazine cover parodying ‘Squid Game’ on his social network service (SNS), so when the script reading was canceled, there were suspicions whether Park Sung Hoon would be dropping out.

In response, Park Sung Hoon’s side stated, “‘Chef of Tyrants’ script reading was canceled due to schedule changes in accordance with the national mourning period.”

It is the new work of director Jang Tae Yu, who directed ‘Rooted Tree’ and ‘My Love from the Star’, and Park Sung Hoon and Girls’ Generation’s Yoona are scheduled to appear.
