The Shaman Who Went Viral for Predicting Sooyoung And Jung Kyung Ho’s Breakup Now Has This Prediction
A shaman who previously predicted the breakup of actor Jung Kyung Ho and singer-actor Choi Soo Young, has now predicted a new possibility!
On the 11th of June, a video was uploaded to the YouTube channel of the shaman in question.
In the video, Myung Do-ryeong, the shaman, mentioned that his previous “breakup prediction” video had gone viral, starting by saying, “I feel cautious and worried with every single word I say. As a shaman, I am simply someone who delivers the words of the deities. Please look upon this kindly as just a delivery of information.”
When asked about the biggest reason behind their split, he stated, “I can feel that Soo Young felt a sense of rushing into marriage. On the other hand, I feel that Jung Kyung Ho was evading it, thinking cautiously, and agonizing over it a lot.” He continued, “It seems Jung Kyung Ho wanted to confidently lead her into marriage when he felt he had reached his absolute peak. Believing that his luck in that regard was weak, he seems to have felt disheartened, which likely prevented him from approaching her proactively.”
Myung Do-ryeong also speculated, “While only the two of them would truly know, there might have also been opposition from Jung Kyung Ho’s family. If someone had proactively cheered them on, comforted Jung Kyung Ho, and helped him, they wouldn’t have broken up; they would have overcome it and gotten married. It seems they failed to talk through the energy and situations they faced back then, leading to a natural breakup.”
He added, “It doesn’t seem like either side explicitly demanded to do this or that. Because they had been dating for such a long time, they likely knew themselves that things would naturally end this way. They needed some sort of turning point to overcome it, but they passed that point while only mentally preparing themselves.”
When asked point-blank about their chances of a reunion, he answered without hesitation, “There is a chance. Even with the breakup energy between them, if a ‘noble helper’ (gwi-in) from their surroundings steps in to look after them, their luck was such that they could change their minds and even get married. It hasn’t been long since they broke up, and even though they have parted ways, feelings of affection, love, worry, and consideration for one another still remain.” He confidently stated, “These feelings can absolutely be brought back to reverse the situation and lead to a reunion. This much is entirely possible.”
Myung Do-ryeong further predicted, “In fact, this breakup probably wasn’t their first. The two of them likely have a pattern of breaking up and getting back together. Jung Kyung Ho has a lot of stray thoughts and is quite old-fashioned. He overthinks and is always cautious. From Sooyoung’s perspective, she likely had complaints about that side of him.”
Previously, in December of last year while Jung Kyung Ho and Choi Soo Young were still dating, Myung Do-ryeong conducted a blind fortune-reading session and stated, “Their compatibility is decent, but I do not see the marital bond between them. They can date for a long time, but it looks difficult for them to make it to marriage,” adding, “Breakup luck has entered their chart, so they will likely end up separating.”

While the video did not receive much attention at the time, it was thrust back into the spotlight across online communities as a “prophetic post” after Jung Kyung Ho and Sooyoung officially confirmed their breakup on the 9th. Myung Do-ryeong has previously gained attention for predicting other entertainment industry incidents, such as comedian Park Na Rae’s illegal medical procedure allegations and provisional attachment issues.
On the 9th of June, an official from Sooyoung’s agency and Jung Kyung Ho’s agency confirmed their breakup. Jung Kyung Ho and Sooyoung developed romantic feelings in 2012 and had been in a public relationship since 2014.
