Eun-Ho is talking to a young Hyun-O who discusses his pain and how even when the responsibilities were burdensome, he was still happy. While Hyun-O is on the phone with Eun-Ho, Mr. Lee, who had a grudge against him, tries to run him over.

Jae-Yong interferes and blocks the truck but gets hit himself.

The head of the broadcasting department is not happy that they don’t have their 9 PM news host and tries to make Hyun-O do it, but he refuses. He even promises him the position, but he think its backstabbing and refuses to do it putting the station in a difficult spot.

Eun-Ho checks up on him after the incident, he says he wants to be alone so she leaves him alone. Meanwhile, Hye-Yeon leaves her old station and migrates to Eun-Ho’s station. She blocks most people in her old team including Ju-Yeon who is shocked she blocked him.

Hye-Yeon is surprised to see Eun-Ho there and promises to keep her secret about Hyeri hidden.

The station’s head panics as more try to convince Hyun-O to do the 9 PM news cycle, then Eun-Ho interferes. She hugs him tightly telling him and convinces him to come back and do it. He admits he’s scared to do it, but ultimately is convinced. Eun-Ho walks out with tears in her eyes.

Ju-Yeon goes back to his place reminiscing about his time with Hyeri. He visits his mother in the hospital. There, he tells her living is a good thing and he asks her not to be sick. He regrets what he did in the past and promises not to do it in the next life, but asks her not to be sick.

Jae-Yong is recovering well and burdening those around him. In the same time, Ju-Yeon decides to audition for a prime timeslot for news, and his superior is happy. He then speaks to Hye-Yeon by calling Eun-Ho’s phone and asking why she blocked him. She tells him its time she moves on from him as its quite common to just block people and move on, he’s quite surprised she did that.

Meeting her psychiatrist, Eun-Ho finds out Hyeri is not coming out again which means whatever triggered her appearance is being properly managed but Eun-Ho wants to say goodbye to Hyeri properly. The doctor says goodbye.

Eun-Ho then hosts a big party inviting those who knew and even didn’t know Hyeri asking them to say goodbye to her. Ju-Yeon’s goodbye is particularly touching as he says he’s thankful to Hyeri for teaching him to move on and appreciate life with his mother.

Hyeri’s friend Min-Young refuses to say goodbye, Eun-Ho is shocked but through conversation, they decide to become friends. Then in the dinner, Hyun-O proposes to Eun-Ho and she accepts.

On another day, Ji-On tells Soo-Jeong he’s going to see their mother and she wants to tag along. Hye-Yeon suffers the wrath of her superior as she suggests to co-host with others giving girl love vibes. When she gets a call from Ju-Yeon, she picks up so he knows he still has a chance and she unblocked him.

The episode ends with Eun-Ho and Hyun-O bickering about kissing before kissing each other happily.
