“Dynamite Kiss” Ending Explained

Ji Hyeok is back from the countryside listening to the recording he left Da Rim when he overhears a crucial evidence.

The next day, during a shareholder meeting to determine Ji Hyeok’s promotion, Ji Hye exposes him and Da Rim’s issue. She also exposes her father and his horrible actions. She suggests they dismiss both and the voting rules in favor of it.

Then, Ji Hyeok shows up and exposes not only Ji Hye but Tae-Young too in front of everyone. He’s also alerted the police of this and they will be investigating both. Ji Hyeok votes to make his mom the CEO of the company.

She greets them looking amazing and explains what her husband had done to her and how she’s filing for a divorce.

Ji Hyeok happily leaves and takes a ride to the countryside to see Da Rim. On his way after buying flowers Tae-Young runs him over with his car.

Ji Hyeok is rushed to the hospital and undergoes a major surgery, when he leaves the surgery, he does not initially wake up. Ji Hyeok’s dad is not doing well himself being hospitalized after the ordeal and his lawyer tells him he will have to be investigated any ways. His former wife scolds him handing him divorce papers and stating if he signs them along other company documents, she’ll drop all her lawsuits against him.

Da Rim nurses Ji Hyeok for a month, then one day, he wakes up but he’s developed amnesia. He does not remember anything after that Jeju trip. Her co-workers suggest they try to recreate their impacful memory hoping he’d remember but he doesn’t.

Ji Hyeok acts harsh towards Da Rim and says he’s surprised at what he’s done and their relationship was bound to fail anyways, so he refuses to get back with her.

Ji Hye leaves their home and her dad confronts her, he is surprised she backstabbed him but she explains its because he pitied her and didn’t love her truly, she said he shouldn’t have abandoned them when her mother was still alive.

Eventually, he goes to get questioned and signs the divorce paper relaying an apology through his rep. The mother is happily leading the company.

Tae-Young rots in jail and gets beat up by his cell-mates after getting abandoned by his father. Ha-Yeong also decides to leave to the U.S. and gets a call from Seon U about Jun missing. She looks for him and eventually finds him, both crying holding each other.

Da Rim and her mom agree to sell the house and then find out Ji Hyeok’s mom In-Ae bought it to thank her for what she’d done. She then offers Da Rim a spot back in the company but she rejects. She then offers to invest in her as she establishes her own company.

A year later

Da Rim is now the CEO of her own agency and while a worker is in Jeju, she spots her sister. She decided to go there and even pack the old beautiful blue dress so she could sell it.

After arriving there, she’s told she works at a hotel and she goes to it. Its the same hotel where Da Rim and Ji Hyeok had their first kiss. She enters with a dress looking for her sister and stumbles upon Ji Hyeok who thinks she’s following him.

He says harsh words but as she leaves, she gets pushed and leans on him and falls. Then, she accidentally kisses him. He then remembers everything and they share a proper kiss this time.

The two get back together, move in together and eventually he proposes to her.

A few years later

Seon U held a new exhibition. There, a woman admires his work and asks who the woman in the photo is, he says its a friend. Then Ha-Yeong shows up, she says she’s not only his friend but his girlfriend, maybe?

Da Rim’s company has grown so much since then. They even close in on a deal and celebrate with the original workers lineup. Later, they watch over their kids happily, they now have two. Ji Hyeok gets scolded for using his phone with the kids and he says its all because of a damn kiss.

Da Rim protests but eventually, they make up and share a kiss.
