“Hunter With A Scalpel” Ending Explained

Disney+ drama “Hunter With A Scalpel” has aired its 16^th and final episode earlier today. Let’s go through the finale and explain the ending!

The episode begins with Se-Hyeon having a flashback to her younger days when her older sister died and how she mourned her.

In the present time, Jung-Hyun finds the location of the killer’s on-wheels lab.

Standing in a place filled with mud around the ocean area, Se-Hyeon looks back on what happened to her. There, her father Jo-Kyun comes to see her and he discusses how they should join hands and what not. How much he loves her and how much she’s special.

The cops are having trouble locating Se Eun who is stuck in a barrel. The kid recalls the watch she was given and signals for help with it after opening it. Jung-Hyun gets the notification and rushes there to save her. Eventually, the cops show up with a lot of help and Jung-Hyun locates and saves her.

In the midst of her confrontation with her dad, Se Hyeon takes a medication to kill herself. he panics as she falls into the ground and has trouble breathing. he carries her on his back, but she then wakes up and injects him with a muscle relaxer. He attempts to make a run for it, but cannot. She takes out a knife and begins to slash him open as he watches her, but police locate her and inform her that Se Eun is alive and was found safe. She then gets arrested along with her dad.

At the police station, she gets questioned about it and honestly reveals that she was going to kill him then herself if police hadn’t showed up. Jung-Hyun informs her she’ll have to stand trial for breaking some laws here and there and she says he should add on the attempted murder charge too. As she finishes questioning and leaves, Jung-Hyun introduces her to a good lawyer.

Later, she drops by her mom who greets her and recognizes her as she cries telling her everything will be ok.

Some time later

Jung-Hyun has been demoted to a patrol officer and chases a known thief. He ultimately catches him and brings him to justice, his friends at the police station welcome him. They ask him why he looks so good and whether something good has happened to him, he says yes.

At a store for school uniforms, Se Eun is picking out an outfit with Se Hyeon and they’re arguing. Eventually, Jung-Hyun also shows up. They are happy to be by her side and help her transition back to school.

At prison, Jo-Kyun is losing his mind, hallucinating. He hallucinates that his daughter has come for him and he’s being escorted to see her. This, of course, did not happen and he is imagining things as he sits in his cell laughing maniacally.
