We get a flashback to 12 years ago, Ho-seok figured out what Ji Kyung Hoon was doing, he keeps making excuses but Ho-seok is not hearing it. Ho-seok goes to Seok Gyeong-Tae to ask for help but he refuses telling him this is exactly what his father did to him all these years ago.

Driving back at night in his car, Ho-seok’s wife talks about the subject, so he calls Kyung Hoon again. He tells him to meet him but it seems Kyung Hoon has been drinking or highly erratic. As they’re both driving towards each other not knowing it, Kyung Hoon attempts to slam himself into the coming car and kill himself, but he chickens out and instead, Ho Seok and his wife swerve the car and eventually clash pretty hard.

Kyung Hoon goes out of his car into their car, he tries to call 911 but doesn’t. He then goes to their car and takes out the camera. Ho Seok begs him to at least save his wife, but he takes out his hand, both die then.

Back in the present day

Grandpa Yoon Jae-Ho is furious and confronts him he throws him into the ground hurting him and takes off with money, passport and important documents. As he heads out, he sees the grandpa is no longer there, and instead he’s at the garden. He speaks differently and instead begs Kyung Hoon to stay. He doesn’t.

Seok Ji-Won and Yoon Ji-Won arrive and Seok Ji-Won goes after him. He gets hurt fighting him but is able to delay his escape until police arrives.

At the hospital, the doctor tells Yoon Ji-Won that while grandpa doesn’t have dementia yet, he cognitive impairment but he does need treatment. Seok Gyeong-Tae shows up to the doctor to be with Ji Won and wants to help out as much as possible.

He is kinda awkward around her but his intentions are well.

Kong Moon-Soo is leaving the school and kids say goodbye to him. As he’s leaving, he reveals to Ji Won he will be getting back to swimming and being around water. He even asks to use up his wish and hugs her before the bus comes.

Teacher Hong Tae-Oh also leaves the school and as he’s heading out, he asks to take Maeng Soo-A to dinner.

Ki-Seok admits to Hae-Soo that he likes her and they make a bet, she’ll go out on a date with him if he improves his grades. She doesn’t shut him down.

Grandpa Yoon visits Kyung Hoon in jail, and its revealed the prosecution will seek the maximum sentence. The grandpa tells Kyung Hoon he forgives him but won’t forgive himself. Kyung Hoon tries to explain he always felt lesser than and wanted to improve himself. The grandpa says its all excuses and he’s never looked at him different than his son.

Outside prison, grandpa Yoon meets Seok Gyeong-Tae who also came, he apologies and reveals his son had actually came to him that day and asked for money but he refused. Now, both grandpas are on good terms.

Our Ji Won couple meets with the parents to discuss the wedding, the grandpas are being nosy because they want a small wedding. Then, Suja shows up and shuts them both.

The couple is exhausted of this already but push through. On their wedding photo shoot day, Seok Ji-Won talks about how he wants to photograph on a sunny day, sadly, the weather goes bad as they’re photographed and they end up having a fight.

The teachers have a goodbye dinner for Hong Tae-Oh and we find out that he had told Maeng Soo-A he likes her and she said she likes him back. They’re now a couple. He bails out of the dinner early to have a date with her and almost everyone on the team knows they’re dating but they think no one knows.

After dinner, Cha Ji-Hye drinks to have the courage to tell Yoon Ji-Won about how she deleted Ji won’s messages from when they were dating in high school. She ends up forgiving her as she can see she hated herself long enough for this and they were kids.

Seok Ji-Won wants to build an ecological park instead of a golf and has to leave to work for a month missing their birthday. He can’t take many phone calls and Ji Won is sad but she pushes through.

A new teacher gets introduced and Ji-Hye falls for him.

Grandpa Yoon seems to be getting forgetful but Ji Won promises to be there for him. Because its snowing, she goes to the same location they agreed to meet at all these years ago. Turns out Ji Won flew from New Zealand to see her. He puts on a scarf she wanted as a gift all these years ago and the couple kiss.
