Mu-Jin is in a dream and he sees his brother U-Jin is about to go out to work in the bad weather. As they discuss work and payment, the screen goes dark and Mu Jin wakes up in a building wrecks. The building CEO Kim Myung-An built is collapsing and everyone has to run including the assemblywoman. Hui Ju and Gyeon U show up and help save the assemblywoman’s legs. During their escape, everyone is blaming the CEO for his negligence and horrible actions that led to this. They go upstairs to the helicopter and find out they got no permit, so no helicopters can land, they go downstairs and the building catches fire and starts to tilt. Then a gap in the middle of one of the floors open up and one worker falls to his death as the CEO tries to get him to let go of his hands. Eventually, Mu Ji and the CEO get into an argument and both fall into the pit of hell.

They wake up greeted by Bo Sal who tells him to sign a contract or else he’ll be demoted to hell. He resists at first and asks why he should go to hell before agreeing to sign the contract. He has 49 days to fix everything or else, he’ll be dragged to hell, he protests the contract but signs it with his blood.

Then, he wakes up and we find out that this all was a dream, a simulation. The CEO says everyone should leave the building, its about to collapse. He ends up halting construction work and paying loads of money to fix the issues he’s caused.

Assemblywoman Moon also listens to the workers and plans on strengthening the laws to prevent incidents while they work on buildings. The CEO also makes on TV and apologizes for the fire caused and promises to fix everything. Mu Jin is also there and shares the sentiment with journalists.

Later, the ghosts of the fire ask for one last favor: to see their loved ones. They’re taken there one by one and eventually wrap up their work and leave.

As Mu Jin talks about becoming famous because of the TV interviews, he gets a call from Mi Joo, its his brother’s 10^th anniversary. As he goes there, he sees his brother and talks to him. After holding the memorial, they talk about U-Jin and his death. Mu Jin cries, remembering what happened.

After it ends, Mu Jin escorts Mi Joo, but she leaves like that; his brother’s ghost pesters him about saying I love you and not holding back. U Jin also tells him he loves him.

On another day, Mu Jin finds out his crypto coin went up and decides to sell it.

At night, Hui Ju and Gyeon U force Mi Joo to leave the apartment and set up both of them to meet up. Mu Jin gives her a bank notebook and apologizes for what he did, he asks her to get back together too and she agrees.

We also find out that Yun Jae is studying for the bar exam and they want to recruit him later, as they drive by, Mu Jin sees Bo Sal’s statue and he talks to him about why he picked him. Thinking his contract is up and he might not see ghosts again, a ghost calls for him from afar and he turns around and yells, ‘WHY!”
