Bom is anxious at night and contemplating whether to write her story on the school’s bulletin board. She decides to do so and confront the truth. She tells the school and the people what truly happened and the trauma she suffered.
Han-Gyul and Se-jin get into a fight because he let her take 1st place and she asks to be given space because it was insulting to her. He does not understand it because he gave it to her as a present. Later, he understands the situation after talking to his uncle, he then tells her he understand what he did wrong and will give her the space she needs. Eventually, she ends up taking 1st place on her own and it gets him jealous a bit.
Bom ends up leaving for Seoul and meets with her parents there. We find out that Jae-Gyu met with department head and made sure he’d kill the story. They’re all happy it worked out but then hear Bom talk about it and saying she shared her story herself anyways, she cries talking about it and asks her mom to trust her this time as she does what she believes is best.
Jae-Gyu ends up driving Bom back to school and she confronts it head on. She tells the students she lied to them and says she feels ashamed but she’s stepping up and confronting this issue. The students seem to not mind and go on about their days.
The teachers and the principal also all treat her the same and did nothing to make her feel bad about it as she wraps up the semester.
Jae-Gyu confronts Mr. Hong outside the school about spreading the rumors and he denies it and says the reporter came to him knowing this already. Jae-Gyu ends up deleting the reporter’s name from his phone ending the situation.
As Bom is preparing to go back to Seoul because her term ended, Jae-Gyu takes her places, they have fun and he teaches her everything she needs to know so she can be fine on her own. The couple have lots of fun together and take pictures.
1 year later
Bom is now teaching at a different school but still faces the rumors. I-Jun ends up coming to her with the ruling she filed against that horrible mother. She won. She flashes it in front of the teachers who were badmouthing her.
The couple miss each other but are doing fine.
Jae-Gyu ends up meeting with Han-Gyul’s mother who sorted out everything she must and offers to pay his tuition. He tells her its better she comes to the admission and be there for her son.
Bom is missing Jae-Gyu terribly so she finally opens the present he gave her and she screams in anger. She comes back to the place to confront him. She searches for him everywhere.
We find out that Han-Gyul and Se-jin are going to the same college together and are still happily dating.
Bom arrives at the beach to find Jae-Gyu to confront him of the gift of his sleeve. He says she gave him the courage to stop hiding his scar and be okay with it. He ends up proposing to her with a diamond ring. She says yes and the couple kiss.
