The story starts with a flashback to what happened to Yoo Sun Ah (Jeon So Ni).
She uncovers Colonel Kim Tae Won’s (Kim Jin Wook) plot to plant a bomb vest on troops and pin the blame on North Korea. On the day of the operation, she tries to save the soldiers, taking the bomb vest for herself in an attempt to go to the military prosecutor. Despite Kim Tae Won trying to stop her, she escapes with the explosives, leaving crucial evidence on a body cam for Kim Do Gi (Lee Je Hoon) to find. Tragically, Yoo Sun Ah dies with the bomb, and Kim Tae Won orders her posthumous demotion, branding her a spy.
Park Jae Won (Kim Seo Ha), who learns the truth, pledges to help with revenge. Kim Do Gi, realizing conventional methods won’t work against people like Kim Tae Won, calls in the Model Taxi team. In the present, Kim Do Gi infiltrates the military base, introducing the team as ecological survey experts. Using clever tactics, they disable the base’s power and steal critical information, while An Go Eun swaps body cams to secure evidence.
The final showdown reveals that Oh Won Sang, disgraced from a sexual harassment scandal and no longer an active soldier, plans to incite war with North Korea under emergency martial law. On the day of the supposed attack, troops unknowingly wear fake bomb vests, which are actually filled with fireworks. When Oh Won Sang triggers the detonation, celebratory fireworks go off instead, and the B24 zone becomes the site of an Elements guerrilla concert, with the Model Taxi team handing out light sticks to cheering crowds.
During the climax, Kim Do Gi confronts Oh Won Sang, sustaining gunshot wounds in his arm and stomach while embracing him to prevent further violence. The gunfire’s target remains ambiguous as both fall off a cliff into the river, leaving the Model Taxi team and An Go Eun to grieve.
Later, it’s revealed that Kim Do Gi survived, reuniting with the team as they return to their respective posts: Jang Sung Chul (Kim Eui Sung) in the underground office, An Go Eun in communications, and the others in the pottery workshop. There, in the workshop, Lim Bok-Ja is led due to a GPS error as she attempts to find someone to kill a person for her.
They interfere with Lim Bok-Ja’s plan to kill someone by staging a meeting with her. She falls again for Do Gi’s charms.
