“The Witch” has concluded its run and aired its 10th episode earlier today, here is a recap of the finale and its ending explained!

The episode begins with Joong-Hyuk visiting Yun A at the hospital. She tells him its not his fault and she heard about the rules as Dong Jin showed up, she says she doesn’t fit one of the rules and he shouldn’t feel bad about it.
Joong-Hyuk then visits Mi-Jung and shows her the deeply flawed report Dong Jin prepared as a highschooler and how its biased. He explains that Dong Jin has disappeared after leaving a message to him about seeing her.
We see a flashback of the time Dong Jin paid her a visit and saw her face to face from 10m distance. He says he wants to lay out his feelings but won’t do it, instead, he tells her to do whatever she wants. Joong-Hyuk takes Mi Jung to his place and shows her the report he had been preparing. She finds out he was basically stalking her. She finds out he didn’t carry out the experiments to prove she’s not a witch but to test to what extend, how and why people get harmed around her.
The prerequisite is that the man must have feelings for her for him to get hurt.
On another day, Joong-Hyuk meets up with Eun-Sil. He gets straight to the point and asks if she’s interested in him. He tells her the story of how Dong Jin approached him because he knew he was similar to Mi Jung and how he’s also been trying to figure it out and save him too. He finds out he also must be interested in her and asks Eun-Sil to give him more time as he needs to protect her.
We find out that Dong Jin went to Hallstatt in Austria so Mi Jung follows him there.
The two ultimately sit down and have a conversation together, Dong Jin and her speak for 10 minutes and she brings his phone from Korea, as she reaches for it, he says he loves her. The winds get stronger and dark clouds approach. Dong Jin says he’ll respect whatever decision she makes and gets up. She stops him and admits she also loves him saying how she’s been thinking and worrying about him.
She then explains to him the last variable, everyone who admitted they liked her left her and when they did, disaster strikes. She asks him not to leave her, and they hug.
Joong-Hyuk gets a message from Dong Jin telling him its important he does not leave Eun-Sil’s side as its the last variable. Eun-Sil sees Joong-Hyuk on the street and then admits to him she likes him as she boards the bus. As he receives Dong Jin’s message, he urges her to leave the bus and she meets him half way, she comes closer to him.
Mi Jung and Dong Jin hold hands and walk around the town, she says she’s anxious, he says all couples are anxious, they smile at each other as they’re holding hands.
