Eun-A talks to Dong Man about when her friend once asked her what the most difficult moment of her life was. How difficult it felt answering this question too. She talked about how her father ultimately returned but her mother never did. How much rage she felt re-living these moments.
She then asked him what the most difficult time for him was, and he mentioned he actually grew up wealthy but then his parents died one after the other after their family business went under. How much they pay in fees for a storage space yearly to keep those things from their old house.
Dong Man and his brother go to pick up Eun-A and her grandmother from the hospital. Then, Dong Man meets with Ma Jae-Yeong and tells him to leave Eun-A alone. He also tells him to pay for his broken tooth but not too much he’ll fix it better later.
At night, Hye-Jin sits down for an honest conversation with Gyeong-Se. She apologizes but also says they should divorce when the time is right. She says he should focus on writing with excitement and not feel too guilty about it.She tells she wants to set him free. He’s shocked.
Dong Man meets with Noh Kang-Sik on set trying to convince him to join his movie.
On another night, Dong Man meets up with his friends and ends up running his mouth on Gyeong-Se who turns out to be in the same bar. The two sit down to hash it out and Gyeong-Se tells him they should cut their relationship and let go after one last trip together. Dong Man says ok, the relationship is over but then returns and refuses to let go. He tells him this will only be resolved if they’re on the same level. Thus, he’ll make his debut as a director and then they can hash it out.
A meeting between Jang Mi-Ran and Jung Hyeon-U’s girlfriend is arranged. Mi Ran goes on the defense and does not apologize properly. Oh Jeong-Hui then shows up. The girlfriend loses her mind at not being offered what she’d like and tells her to quit this and go care for her biological daughter. She then threatens to release the CCTV. She tells her to do it if she dares and see how it goes. She shut her good. Before she leaves, she tells her that she does not compare to her biological daughter who is impressive.
On another day, Oh Jeong-Hui shows up to a meeting with the agency and Eun A is invited. She goes on the offense on the writer but Eun A holds back recalling her doctor’s words about how to deal with rage.
Gyeong-Se meets with Writer Park but its to say goodbye. She thanks him for giving her inspiration and they stop working together. He returns to the office and tells his wife he was wrong. She insists he’s not but he insists he is. It makes her nearly tear up. He says he’ll write alone and take all the blame and all the praise alone.
Mi Ran and Eun-A meet up and Mi Ran says Oh Jeong-Hui said her biological daughter is impressive which makes Eun A tear up and she admits she’s her daughter. The two share a hug.
Noh Kang-Sik agrees to do Dong Man’s movie and Dong Man prepares for his new journey telling his brother he might not be home often. When asked how he’d like to live, he said with humor. His brother supports him.
Dong Man gets busy with work, then feels frustration in the middle of filming then gets his as- kicked by Noh Kang-Sik and returns to filming again.
Meanwhile, his brother Jin Man gets asked to present for students as a poet and says he prefers to be a welder not a poet. He explains how its much better and less horrendous. Then, Eun A and Mi Ran meet up with him and show him the photo of his daughter they’d found while interacting with people on SNS. He cries and then holds a pen to write poetry.
Dong Man ultimately completes the movie, it does well getting rave reviews and is doing well in the box office. The team celebrates and Dong Man reveals its about Gyeong-Se. The two joke around together now that they’re on the same level. Dong Man even wins a new director award. He says, “Jin Man, I won an award. Yeong Sil, you can finally search your uncle online. Eun-A thank you for being with me.”
