“Weak Hero Class 2” Ending Explained

Netflix has finally unveiled the new 8 episodes of “Weak Hero Class 2” and in this article we will recap the finale and explain the ending of episode 8!

The four friends gather at the school where the fight will take place, Si Eun decides to regroup after studying the union, he tells them to ask to delay it for a bit.

Si Eun goes to Seong-Je and basically asks him to hand him the burner account he has of the union as it would benefit him if the union collapsed and the evidence of his crimes did too. So he agrees to help.

Si Eun summons Hyo Man and asks him to also turn on the union and gives him evidence of their corruption from within, this turns away many members of the union.

The fight day is here, and everyone gathers. However, Si Eun gets a message from Seong-Je to basically come because he has the original phone with the evidence. He rushes there and is choked, this is to prevent him from joining in on the fight.

Jun Tae senses something is wrong and rushes to where Si Eun is. There, he helps him beat the large man so they can rush for the fight which is taking place.

All the members fight and its a close call. Hu-Min and Baek-Jin come face to face and Baek-Jin beats Hu Min very good, so much so he’s on the ground unable to get up. As he tells everyone the union is part of the school, Si Eun shows up and begins fighting him.

Si Eun beats his legs knowing his hands and shoulders are badly bruised, but Si Eun is also badly injured and on the ground. Baek-Jin thinks he won and asks where they are in the margin of error, Si Eun says they’re in it and tells him his limbs are now very weak. We find out that Hu Min and Si Eun coordinated to take him down together.

Hu Min beats Baek-Jin one last time and he’s on the ground. The union is dissolved. Baek-Jin has no one by his side as he lies on the floor.

The four friends go on and get their much needed sleep and become seniors in high school.

One day, Si Eun gets a call, An Soo-Ho has woken up. Si Eun rushes there with his friends and he nearly cries talking to him. An Soo-Ho seems fine but is in a wheelchair. He asks who these people are and Si Eun says they’re his friends. An Soo-Ho is happy for him.

Post credit scene

Choi Chang-Hee [cameo by Jo Jung Suk] asks Geum Seong-Je to meet up, he hands him a business card of their gang. He wants him to replace Baek Jin but Geum Seong-Je says its not romantic if its just hard work making money, Choi Chang-Hee laughs at him. When he’s asked where Baek Jin is, we find out that he’s died.

The four friends visit the wake and Hu Min cries his eyes out seeing that Baek Jin has passed away
