44-Year Old Comedian Ahn Young Mi Announces 2nd Pregnancy
Comedian Ahn Young Mi shared the news of her second pregnancy.
Ahn Young Mi announced the news on the February 2 broadcast of MBC FM4U’s “Two O’Clock Date with Ahn Young Mi,” saying, “The day has finally come for me to say this in my own words. There’s a reason people say ‘Dude’ has good pregnancy energy. I’m pregnant with my second child.”
She continued, “I wanted to share this news with the listeners first,” adding, “I held back and waited until I reached a stable stage because I had to be careful.”
Ahn Young Mi also said, “I’m 44 years old. As long as a person has the will, that’s what matters,” and confessed, “It was the same with my first, but with my second, it’s definitely a late-age pregnancy. Still, I felt this was a stable enough stage.”
She added, “When rumors about health issues came out because I lost weight after eating ‘Ddujjonku’ wrong, how unfair must that have been? Everyone kept asking why I was so thin, but I had gained weight elsewhere.”
Ahn Young Mi’s second child is due in July, and the baby’s gender has been reported to be a son, following her first child.
Meanwhile, Ahn Young Mi married an office worker employed at a foreign company in 2020, and the couple has one son. Her husband is currently working in the United States, and Ahn Young Mi is raising their son alone in Korea. It is known that her husband visits Korea once every three to four months, and because of this, she previously held their first son’s first birthday party without her husband present.
