2NE1’s Park Bom Issues Lengthy Apology Letter After Accusing Sandara Park Of Using Drugs
2NE1 member Park Bom has shared her feelings through a long handwritten letter about a month after her drug-related allegations toward fellow member Sandara Park.
On the afternoon of the 17th of April, Park Bom uploaded a lengthy handwritten letter beginning with “To the people of the nation.” In the letter, she mentioned all 2NE1 members by name—Sandara Park, leader CL, and maknae Gong Minzy—expressing her affection for them.
Park Bom first praised CL, calling her “a god of performance” and “a very cool person.” She then described Gong Minzy as “someone I’m very proud of” and “a dance genius.”
Lastly, referring to Sandara Park, she said “the princess of the Philippines” and “the smart brain who brings harmony within the team.”
At the end of the letter, Park Bom added, “I hope the drug-related story can be treated as something that never happened,” and “Because the four of us coming together was a miracle, something unbelievable, I am writing this letter.” However, this part of the post has since been deleted.
Previously, on the 3rd of last month, Park Bom shocked many by claiming on her account that “Park Sandara was caught for drugs and, to cover it up, made me into a drug addict.”
Regarding this, a close acquaintance of Park Bom explained that “it was something that happened due to her unstable health,” and Park Bom deleted the post, seemingly wrapping up the situation as an incident.
Sandara Park responded the following day, stating, “I have never done drugs. I hope she becomes healthy,” while also proving her innocence and wishing for Park Bom’s recovery. She also unfollowed Park Bom on social media, drawing a clear line.
However, Park Bom later re-uploaded similar posts, which worsened public opinion.
Meanwhile, Park Bom has suspended activities since August last year due to health reasons.
