BELIFT Lab Explains To Billboard Why Heeseung Left The Group To Pursue A Solo Career

After the sudden departure of Heeseung from ENHYPEN, BELIFT Lab has explained to Billboard why it was decided that Heeseung would leave ENHYPEN to pursue a solo career instead of staying with the group while pursuing a solo career on the side!

On March 10, ENHYPEN’s agency shared the idol’s departure from the group. The agency explained, “HEESEUNG has his own distinct musical vision and we have decided to respect it.” The news came as a huge shock to fans because it was so unexpected. Many fans were stunned by the news that seemed to have come out of left field, leaving many trying to piece together what happened in the lead-up to the sudden announcement.

Because of this, fans began trending various hashtags on Twitter/X demanding a better explanation from the agency, many kept repeating that ENHYPEN is seven, and this sudden departure was unacceptable. Some even started a petition online calling for the return of Heeseung to the group.

When billboard reached out for a comment, the agency told them, “We concluded that allowing HEESEUNG to focus fully on his career as a solo artist, rather than pursuing solo activities within the team, would be the most fulfilling approach for both ENHYPEN and HEESEUNG.”

In related news, the ENHYPEN members spoke up about Heeseung’s departure via Twitter/X, they told fans, “The time we have spent together until now has been so precious that it cannot be expressed in words. That is why we respect and support the choice and new start of Heeseung hyung, who has been with us during that time.”
