Choi Minhwan Is Returning To Group Activities In Korea With FTISLAND Following Controversy Raised By His Ex-Wife
FTISLAND member Choi Minhwan, who had halted his activities following his ex-wife Yulhee’s prostitution-related allegations, is set to resume domestic activities.
According to his agency FNC Entertainment on June 30, Choi Minhwan will be joining FTISLAND’s upcoming concert “2025 FTISLAND LIVE ‘MAD HAPPY’,” which will be held on August 23 and 24 at the Blue Square SOL Theater in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
In the official announcement, the agency stated, “This concert will feature performances by Lee Hongki, Lee Jaejin, and Choi Minhwan. Please keep this in mind when purchasing tickets.”
Choi Minhwan had previously suspended his team activities in October of last year after his ex-wife, former LABOUM member Yulhee, publicly accused him of misconduct.
Following the accusations, Choi Minhwan faced allegations related to prostitution and sexual assault, but the police later cleared him due to lack of evidence. He gradually returned to activities by participating in FTISLAND’s Japan live tour earlier this March.
The upcoming domestic concert will be FTISLAND’s first in Korea in about a year, following their “2024 FTISLAND LIVE ‘PULSE’” concert held last June.
Ticket pre-sales for Weverse membership holders will begin on July 3 at 8 PM KST, while general sales open on July 9 at 8 PM KST.
Are you glad he’s coming back?
