EXID’s Hani Leaves Variety Show Abruptly, Is It Because Of The Incident Involving Her Fiance’s Hospital?
Hani has announced her departure from JTBC4’s new variety show ‘Review Cut’ and many are wondering why.
On the 20th of August, the ‘Review Cut’ team stated, “It is true that Hani voluntarily stepped down.” ‘Review Cut’ is an observational variety program that provides honest reviews by directly experiencing popular items in a fast-changing world, including trending products, items that cause sell-outs, and cost-effective items.
JTBC had previously announced on the 11th of last month that Hani, who is preparing for marriage, would be joining the show. Hani’s departure is being interpreted as a result of the controversy surrounding her boyfriend Yang Jae-woong. In May, a patient died at a psychiatric hospital operated by Yang Jae-woong.
Previously, EXID’s Hani‘s agency has refrained from commenting on the death of a patient at a psychiatric hospital run by her boyfriend, psychiatrist and broadcaster Yang Jae Woong after various attacks against Hani emerged.
There were rumors about Hani delaying her wedding due to the incident, but her agency has refused to comment.
