FT Island’s Choi Minhwan Halts All Entertainment Activities After Being Exposed For Allegedly Visiting Adult Entertainment Establishment During Marriage
FT Island’s Choi Minhwan is halting all activities after his ex-wife exposed his past actions and explained what led to their divorce.
On the 25th of October, his agency, FNC Entertainment, announced, “Choi Minhwan feels a deep sense of responsibility for disappointing the public and viewers, and he intends to suspend all media activities, including the broadcast with his children.”
Regarding the claims made by Minhwan’s ex-wife Yulhee about his personal matters, shared on her YouTube channel, the agency commented, “It is difficult for us to fully grasp the specifics of issues related to their marital matters.”
The agency also expressed regret, saying, “We apologize for the discomfort and concern caused to many people.”
Consequently, Minhwan will also be leaving the KBS2 show The Return of Superman. A representative from the show confirmed, “Minhwan’s departure from The Return of Superman has been decided, and there is no remaining pre-recorded footage.”
Choi Minhwan and Yulhee married in 2018 but divorced in December last year. They have a son and twin daughters, with Minhwan obtaining custody following their separation. Since then, he continued his activities by appearing on The Return of Superman with his children. Yulhee, too, has been pursuing her own path, recently appearing on TV Chosun’s I Am Alone after their divorce.
However, with Minhwan obtaining custody, some speculated that Yulhee might have been at fault in their divorce. In response, Yulhee shared on I Am Alone that the custody decision was made for the children’s benefit. On the 24th, she further disclosed on her YouTube channel that the divorce was due to Minhwan’s misconduct, alleging his frequent visits to entertainment establishments, infidelity, and conflicts over child support before the separation, sparking widespread controversy.

Look, at the end of the day, it’s not illegal to frequent such establishment. Her saying that she gave up full custody of her children for their benefit is the biggest BS I’ve heard in my whole life.
