Another MADEIN Member Takes A Sudden Hiatus, Fans Alarmed Amid Ongoing Controversy Of CEO Misconduct Allegations
Fans are concerned for MADEIN’s Suhye’s well-being after the agency announced her hiatus!
143 Entertainment announced on the 14th of May, “Suhye has recently decided to take a break for the time being due to personal reasons.”
They continued, “As this decision was made to allow her to return to fans in a better condition, we ask for your generous understanding. Our company will do our best to support Suhye so that she can rest comfortably and take enough time.”
The statement is somewhat vague which is not uncommon among kpop groups and idols who take hiatuses due to personal reasons, but considering the ongoing issue with a previous member, this has concerned fans.
MADEIN debuted in September last year as a 7-member group consisting of Suhye, Nagomi, Serena, Miyu, Yeseo, Mashiro, and Gaeun. However, Gaeun left the team last year due to what was described as health issues at the time before allegations came out.
Last month, she held a press conference claiming she was sexually harassed by 143 Entertainment’s CEO Lee Kwang Deuk. Gaeun. However, his side has announced plans for legal action and completely denied the allegations, saying that many parts were untrue.
