Funeral Flower Wreaths Demanding Suga’s Departure From BTS Following DUI Seen At HYBE’s Building

Flower wreaths sent to HYBE’s building demanding Suga’s departure from BTS are being spotted on the street!

Previously, it was reported that on the night of August 6th, Suga had fallen while driving a personal mobility device under the influence of alcohol, resulting in his license being revoked for having a blood alcohol concentration of over 0.08%.

Big Hit issued an apology confirming the news and Suga later issued a public apology too, expressing deep regret and taking full responsibility for his actions.

However, due to several inconsistencies in Big Hit’s statement, the agency had to issue a correction and a 2^nd apology. And Suga also ended up issuing a 2^nd apology later on.

His case ultimately ended with a summary order in which he paid the heaviest fine, 15 million won (approximately USD 11,200), considering his blood alcohol level at the time of the incident.

Amidst all this, some have expressed dissatisfaction with Suga remaining in the group, and some comments began asking for him to leave the group to not taint its image. The demands were never acknowledged or addressed by HYBE or Suga.

After the recent incident with former RIIZE member Seunghan, some of the BTS fandom then thought of also sending large amounts of flower wreaths to demand Suga’s departure from the group hoping for a similar outcome.

On October 20, the wreaths began to appear around HYBE’s building. Others who are against this have sent a support food truck to combat the wreaths.

Reactions have been mixed to this with some calling the flower wreaths a waste of time, what are your thoughts on this?
