Following Taemin and The Boyz terminating their exclusive contracts, girl group VIVIZ and singers Lee Mu Jin and B.O also leave CEO Cha Ga Won.

On the 19th of March, according to The Fact’s reporting, VIVIZ (Eunha, SinB, Umji) and Lee Mu Jin and B.O notified Big Planet Made Entertainment of their contract termination. The reason is serious violations of the exclusive contract and the resulting breakdown of trust. The artists tried to hear satisfactory answers from CEO Cha, but ultimately could not restore the trust relationship.

In response to this, CEO Cha is unable to accept the contract termination notices from VIVIZ, Lee Mu Jin, and B.O. However, the media outlet argues that Big Planet Made Entertainment is at fault for being unable to provide even basic support to its artists, and it is highly likely that the contract terminations will be accepted without much difficulty.

As previously reported by The Fact, Big Planet Made Entertainment is reportedly not only in a state of complete capital erosion but has also been unable to settle payments to singers since the third quarter of last year. Unpaid amounts of tens of billions of won have accumulated with partner companies and staff, making it practically impossible to support artists’ album production or activities going forward.

Before them, SHINee’s Taemin terminated his contract with Big Planet Made Entertainment and announced a fresh start at Galaxy Corporation, where G-Dragon is signed. At that time, it was reported that Taemin was able to terminate the contract without dispute due to CEO Cha’s serious negligence. Following this, the boy group The Boyz, under another label led by CEO Cha, One Hundred, also notified the company of contract termination. The agency also did not accept this.

In this regard, Big Planet Made Entertainment told The Fact, “There is no final conclusion yet regarding the contract terminations of VIVIZ, Lee Mu Jin, and B.O. We are making our best efforts to ensure the artists can continue their activities normally.”
