Netflix Reveals Who Replaces Ha Young In Announcement For “The Trauma Code: Heroes On Call” Official Casting For Season 2 And 3
Actress Ha Young, who halted her activities amid the pro-Japanese ancestry controversy, has officially left the next season of “The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call.”
Netflix original series “The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call” (directed by Lee Do Yoon) is returning with Ju Ji Hoon, Choo Young Woo, Yoon Kyung Ho, Jeong Jae Kwang, and Jung Ye In. The series captivated viewers worldwide with its satisfying storyline and the cast’s fun team chemistry. Led by the “God’s Hand” Baek Kang Hyuk (Ju Ji Hoon), its distinctive characters and thrilling scenes became a hot topic, and it ranked in the TOP 10 list in 63 countries. Seasons 2 and 3 have been confirmed to be produced at the same time.
Seasons 2 and 3 promise a more upgraded chemistry among the cast and a bigger scale. Baek Kang Hyuk, who revived the trauma team with his life-risking performance, starts another “major surgery” to make the impossible possible.
Season 2 tells the story of Baek Kang Hyuk and the trauma team racing to clear the blocked arteries of the system and protect the golden time between life and death, amid a bigger disaster and unpredictable crises. The trauma team, which broke through their limits together in season 1, now faces a new path. Director Lee Do Yoon will write the screenplay for season 2, while new writer Tomashi joins him for season 3 to add energy.
Above all, the more solid chemistry of “Team Trauma” is what’s raising expectations. The trauma team, who now understand each other at a glance, will deliver even more thrilling satisfaction with their strong synergy. Ju Ji Hoon, Choo Young Woo, Yoon Kyung Ho, and Jeong Jae Kwang return, and newcomer Jung Ye In joins them.
Ju Ji Hoon, the center of the trauma team, continues Baek Kang Hyuk’s crowd-pleasing performance, and attention is on how he’ll overcome the crisis with his new mission in season 2. Choo Young Woo, the “official No. 1,” carefully portrays the growth of Yang Jae Won, who has emerged as Baek Kang Hyuk’s successor. Yoon Kyung Ho, who brought laughs by taking on the “Baek Kang Hyuk persona” in crises, adds humor as Han Yu Rim, who has been promoted to head of planning at Hankuk University Hospital.
Jeong Jae Kwang, who drew attention with his impactful acting, will further strengthen the team chemistry as Park Kyung Won. Newcomer Jung Ye In plays Cheon Jang Mi, the trauma team’s veteran nurse, and brings vitality to the show. Attention is on the fresh charm of Jung Ye In, who was cast through a fierce audition, as speculation about her replacing Ha Young had earlier circulated.
Seasons 2 and 3 will also feature other new and charming actors who will create diverse characters and synergy.
Based on the web novel of the same name by Hansan Iga (Lee Nak Joon), “The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call” tells the exhilarating story of a genius surgeon who ran the battlefields and takes charge of a trauma team that exists in name only. Season 2 stars Ju Ji Hoon, Choo Young Woo, Yoon Kyung Ho, Jeong Jae Kwang, and Jung Ye In, and director Lee Do Yoon, who directed the first season, handles both the screenplay and the direction.
