Korean Media Alleges There Were Signs Of Trouble In Jung Kyung Ho And Sooyoung’s Relationship Before Their Shocking Breakup News
Signs of trouble had reportedly been appearing for some time before Jung Kyung Ho and Sooyoung‘s breakup, which shocked fans who had long admired them as one of Korea’s most enduring celebrity couples.
According to the entertainment industry, the breakup was not something that happened suddenly overnight.
While breakup rumors recently resurfaced after online users noticed that the two had unfollowed each other on social media, reports suggest that they may have actually gone their separate ways much earlier than their official announcement.
Signs of change were reportedly noticed in Sooyoung’s work environment as well. People on the set of her upcoming project “Idol Eye” allegedly observed that she appeared noticeably more withdrawn and burdened by worries.
At first, some believed it was simply because she was immersed in the emotionally heavy nature of the project. However, colleagues reportedly became concerned when her subdued mood continued even during breaks and off-camera moments. Following the breakup announcement, some staff members reportedly viewed those moments as possible clues that something had been wrong.

Jung Kyung Ho also reportedly showed changes in his behavior. During an appearance on his close friend Hyoyeon’s YouTube channel late last year, he notably avoided mentioning Sooyoung throughout their lengthy conversation. This stood in stark contrast to his past habit of naturally expressing affection for his longtime partner during interviews and public appearances.
The two sides were also said to have had different views on how to announce the end of their relationship. Jung Kyung Ho’s side reportedly preferred to keep things quiet and avoid unnecessary attention, while Sooyoung’s side was said to favor making a clear statement and resolving the matter quickly. Although there were differences in approach during discussions, both ultimately chose to consider each other’s future and simultaneously reorganized their social media accounts before acknowledging the breakup.
On June 9, both stars officially confirmed through their agencies that they had ended their 14-year romantic relationship and would remain good colleagues moving forward.
