Popular Actress Under Fire For Lacking Etiquette At Restaurant In The U.S., Issues Apology
Actress Lee Si Young has bowed her head regarding a recently released SNS video.
Previously, Lee Si Young uploaded a family meal video filmed at a restaurant in Long Island, USA, on her SNS. In the video, her son was seen freely walking around the restaurant, eating, or dancing. Additionally, she had placed the camera far away from her table, and it captured the face of a foreign woman sitting at another table. The woman’s face was exposed without any mosaic, which drew criticism from some netizens. The video has since been deleted.
Many criticized her parenting style and for not disciplining her son allowing him to wander around the restaurant unsupervised. Others pointed out how rude it was to place a camera far away from her table to capture her moments, disrupting other people who were caught in the video without their consent.
On the 10th of August, through her Instagram, Lee Si Young said, “When I upload photos or videos, I usually check them thoroughly, but I think there was a mistake,” and added, “I sincerely apologize to those who felt uncomfortable due to the recent video. I will act more carefully in the future.” She then concluded, “I hope everyone has a comfortable rest of the weekend.”
Meanwhile, in March, Lee Si Young announced her divorce from restaurant businessman Cho Seung Hyun. The two got married in September 2017 and lived as a married couple for eight years.
Recently, through her SNS, Lee Si Young revealed that she is currently pregnant, explaining, “During the marriage, I prepared for a second child through IVF, but due to the timing of the legal settlement and the expiration of frozen embryo storage, I ultimately decided to proceed with the implantation.” She also revealed that the other party did not agree, stating, “I will take full responsibility for that decision.”
